PURPOSE:To provide a desirable clearance corrective performance following the vibration of a rotating shaft by placing a cushion ring between a seal housing which contains sealant for the rotating shaft and a cushion case in a concentric state with said seal housing. CONSTITUTION:Between a cushion case 1 placed in a concentric state on the outside of a seal housing 3 and said seal housing 3, there are placed a pair of cushion rings 2, 2 in which the inside and outside joints 2a, 2b are interconnected through an elastic ramp 2c into one body. Said cushion rings 2, 2 are always energized by an extrusion pressure in the direction towards a rotating shaft 6 with respect to said seal housing 3. Thereby, under conditions where any vibration is caused in the rotating shaft 6, said vibration can be absorbed by said cushion rings 2, 2 in the cushion case 1 through said seal housing 3. |
