PURPOSE:To constitute the system even at a side having no loopback connector and to execute communication by activating an optical switch to reflect an optical signal when a power supply of an optical bus repeater is turned off so as to reflect the optical signal at the side having no loopback connector. CONSTITUTION:The input/output side is provided with optical switches 21, 22 and a switch control section 23 controlling the optical switches 21, 22 in interlocking with the on/off of a power supply. Since the optical switch 21 is selected to reflect the optical signal from an incoming line by the control of a switch control section 23 when the power is turned off, the signal at the side having no loopback connector 12 is reflected and even at the left side of an optical bus repeater 11, the system is constituted and communication is attained within the system. The optical switch 22 reflects the right side of the optical bus repeater and is not operated in this case. |
