PURPOSE:To attain ease of manufacture and to relieve the trouble of assembling and adjustment by coupling four strip line - slot line converting section so that the direction of the magnetic field is made opposite in one of them, providing a nonlinear element to one of two slot lines and providing an amplitude and phase adjusting element to the other. CONSTITUTION:Since the strip line - slot line converting section 6 is coupled with the other converting sections 13, 14, 15 in a manner that the direction of the magnetic field is opposite, the signal of the strip line 6 has an opposite phase to that of a signal of a strip line 7. Thus, the signal divided by a Wilkinson type distributor 5 into two waves is combined again into one wave by a Wilkinson type synthesizer 9, then linear components are cancelled together. In this case, since the amplitude and phase of the linear component signal of the strip line 7 only are adjusted by adjusting the bias current and voltage of a PIN diode 18 and a varactor diode 19 connected to a slot line 12, a desired nonlinear signal is obtained from an output terminal 10 when the two waves are synthesized.
