PURPOSE:To have smooth starting operation by automatically adjusting the tension of a belt by the use of load variation on the rotated member side. CONSTITUTION:When the load on drum 2 side has increased, the inclination of a supporting member 19 will become large to give a belt for drum, 14, a greater tension with the aid of pulleys 20, 21. When the load on drum 2 side has decreased, on the other hand, to provide normal rotation, the inclination of the supporting member 19 will become small to lessen the tension given to the belt 14, which should provide automatic adjustability for the tension of the belt 14 through the use of load variation on the drum 2 side. Thus the belt tension can be adjusted automatically to assure smooth starting operation. |
