PURPOSE:To manufacture a ceramic-made bearing ring higher in accuracy of a curved surface of a ball contact surface by drying, polishing, and calcining a mixture yielded by mixing a binder into a powdered base material for ceramic after molding it into a bearing ring shape. CONSTITUTION:A mixture manufactured by mixing a binder into a known powdered base material for ceramic is formed with use of a metal mold to yield a bearing ring. Then, after drying this with use of a dryer, an inner surface and an outer surface of the bearing ring to house a ball 5 is precission polished to form an accurate curved surface thereof of a prescribed size. Finally, this is calcined in a calcination furnace to finish desired bearing rings 2, 3.
