PURPOSE:To provide a reversible image-forming material free of sticking phenomenon and capable of high-speed recording, by a construction wherein a anti-sticking layer consists of three components of a pigment, a lubricant and a binder. CONSTITUTION:The reversible image-forming material has a three-layer construction wherein a recording layer comprising a color former, a color developer and a binder, an overcoat layer and the anti-sticking layer are provided on one side of a base. The anti-sticking layer consists of the three components of a pigment, a lubricant and a binder. The image-forming material is so constructed that images can be formed by a thermal head, and the formed images can be deleted by water or water vapor. The pigment in the anti-sticking layer is preferably a particulate material such as colloidal silica and colloidal alumina. The lubricant is preferably a metallic soap lubricant. The binder is preferably a material having excellent heat resistance, for example, ethyl cellulose, cellulose acetate or ethylhydroxyethyl cellulose. |
