PURPOSE:To obtain the title printer reduced in noise and easy to handle, by simple constitution such that the running route of a printing head is inclined to the running direction of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 1 receiprocally moves on the straight line 50 connecting points 44, 45. A dimension Y is the horizontal direction line of the straight line 50 and a dimension X is the inclination quantity of the straight line 50. The printing head 1 starts printing when reached a printing start position 41 from the position of the point 44 and successively performs printing while moves to the right. The running route of the printing head 1 is present on the straight line 50 and inclined to an upward right direction. The feed amount of recording paper 10 is set to the interval dimension 1 between character lines per the reciprocation of the printing head. That is, because said feed amount is set to the relation of X=1/2, printed characters are arranged horizontally. By this constitution, the recording paper is continuously fed and noise becomes low and the head applied to a paper feed motor can be also reduced. Further, feeling is improved from the aspect of the handling of the recording paper constitution, wherein the recording paper and the printing head are simultaneously driven by one motor, can be easily realized. |
