PURPOSE:To enable to keep the temperature of stored hot water used for supplement hot water at high temperature by a method wherein a hot water supplier is on-off controlled by an initial automatic operation controlling means or a supplementary hot water automatic operation controlling means. CONSTITUTION:An initial automatic operation controlling means 25 to heat-up at the desired set time the necessary amount of initial hot water storage, which is calculated from a residual amount of hot water storage detected by a detecting means 17 for amount of hot water storage and an amount of initial hot water storage corresponding to an amount of hot water supplying first and set by a setting means 14 for the amount of initial hot water storage, and a supplement hot water automatic operation controlling means 26 to operate and control and hot water storing operation to obtain the necessary amount of supplement hot water storage, which is calculated from a residual amount of hot water storage and the amount of supplement hot water storage corresponding to the sum of the amount of hot water to be filled in a bath and the service hot water load consumed in the morning of the following day and set by a setting means 15 for the amount of supplement hot water storage, so as to perform after the end of an initial hot water storing operation and at the same time after the start of supplementary supply of hot water in the bath are provided. Due to the method as described above, an automatic hot water storing operation consisting of two operation modes or the initial hot water storing operation, the main load of which is hot water supplying, and the supplement hot water storing operation for the supplent hot water and for the service hot water load consumed in the morning of the following day can be performed.
