PURPOSE:To simplify work and to enhance sensitivity and productivity, by parallelly providing a plurality of magnetic layers to a strip like non-magnetic material at a predetermined angle to the longitudinal direction of said non- magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of elongated magnetic layers 11 are parallelly arranged to a coating material 12 comprising a non-magnetic material so as to provide a predetermined angle of theta, for example, 45 deg. with respect to the longitudinal direction of said coating material 12. Because said magnetic layers 11 are adhered to the strip like coating material, they can be easily adhered on a flat surface at an angle of 45 deg.. thus formed strip like sheet 10 is wound around the outer periphery of a passive shaft 1 and cut in the circumferential length thereof. If said sheet 10 is coated with an adhesive material 13 and wound around the passive shaft 1 to be fixed thereto, the passive shaft of a torque detection apparatus can be easily prepared and work is simplified, and sensitivity and productivity can be enhanced. |
