CONTROL DEVICE FOR HUNTING

PURPOSE:To control hunting with high accuracy in a hot rolling mill of a continuous stand by providing a detector and detecting the speed difference and load difference at both ends of a material to be rolled. CONSTITUTION:A device 7 for detecting the speed of the material 1 to be rolled and a device 10 for detecting the rolling load thereof are provided on the outlet side of the stand of the hot rolling mill of a single or continuous stand. The speed difference DELTAV and load difference DELTAL at both work side WS and drive side DS of the material 1 are then detected. The hunting of the material 1 is controlled by a control device 8 for hunting.
