PURPOSE:To produce high-purity salt, by feeding a solution of salt having high concentration to an electro-deposition bath, opposing a anode and a cathode in the electro-deposition bath, sending an electric current to the electrodes, and producing salt from an aqueous solution wherein calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide are deposited on the cathode. CONSTITUTION:The sea water 1 is added to the desalination device 2 to make the fresh water 9, and waste water of water having high salt content is fed to the electro-deposition bath 3. The anode 4 and the cathode 5 are opposed in the electro-deposition bath 3, a DC current is sent from the electric source device 4 to the anode 4 and the cathode 5, so the electro-deposit 6 of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide are precipitated on the anode 5. The aqueous solution after the deposition is sent to the salt production unit 7, and salt is purified and crystallized.
