<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled device controlling the shape of plate thickness of a rolling plate well by forcing-in in a horizontal direction plural sets of small diameters roll pairs between a work roll and backing-up roll of a rolling mill and by giving a reverse bending force to the work roll with the vertical components force thereof. CONSTITUTION:Plural sets of small diameter roll pairs 4 are forced in FA in a horizontal direction with the operation of a controller 7 by a plate thickness detecting 5 signal 6 between a work roll 2 and backing-up roll 3 of a rolling mill and the plate thickness is corrected with the addition of a reverse bending force to the work roll 2 by the vertical direction component force FB thereof. The detailed correction in plate thickness over the plate whidth of the rolling material is enabled with a simple device and the plate thickness of the rolling material is made uniform and well.</p> |
