PURPOSE:To surely prevent the transfer of excessive sheets of works and remove trouble and loss of material from an equipment such as a processing apparatus, by providing means for stopping the drive of a conveyer based on the result of excessive sheets of works detection by a phototube device. CONSTITUTION:When a phototube device 2 detects that two or more sheets of works A are transferred by a conveyer 1, the drive of the conveyer 1 is stopped in response to a detection signal. In result, no overload is applied to a processing apparatus for the work A. Therefore the processing apparatus is not damaged and there is no loss of material.
