PURPOSE:To provide the titled elastomer compsn. having good vulcanization adhesion to brass and suitable for use as a material for the inner and outer tubes of a high-pressure hose, by blending triazole or its derivative with an acrylic elastomer. CONSTITUTION:0.5-7pts.wt. triazole or 1-[N,N-bis(2-ethylhexyl)aminomethyl]- benzotriazole is incorporated in 100pts.wt. acrylic elastomer mainly composed of an acrylate to obtain the desired acrylic elastomer compsn. When the inner and outer tubes of a high-pressure hose are prepd. from the compsn. and a brass-plated steel wire is braided or wound between the inner and outer tubes to form a fortifying layer, high-strength vulcanization adhesion layers are formed between the inner tube and the brass-plated steel wire-fortified layer as well as between the outer tube and said layer and a high-pressure hose having excellent durability can be obtd.
