PURPOSE:To make it possible to use cheap material for a pressure container and besides to enhance heat efficiency by providing there with cooling channels, through which cooling medium flows, between a layer-built cell and the pressure container. CONSTITUTION:The outer side part of a pressure container 18 containing a layer-built cell 11 is covered with heat-insulating material 19 and its inner side part is provided with channels 20 for cooling air as cooling medium. The cooling air is pressurized and supplied to the lower parts of the cooling channels 20 and rises up uniformly through the cooling channels 20 at the side wall and is exhausted to the outside through an exhaust tube 23. The cooling air absorbs heat produced in the layer-built cell 11 and thereby the heating of the pressure container 18 can be prevented. And at the same time, the radiated heat of the cell is absorbed with the cooling medium and this absorbed heat can be effectively utilized. |
