PURPOSE:An apparatus for automatically applying cork powder to a blow mold, capable of carrying the blow mold for molding a tumbler, transferred to the standby position, and coated with an adhesive to a coating position, and moving the blow mold in a powder containing box fed thereto. CONSTITUTION:A blow mold (W) coated with a paste is transferred to a given position by a turntable device 55, and this apparatus senses the blow mold and starts the operation by a program. A driving device 7 of the Y axis first moves the table device 55 to a given position and stops the table device 55. The blow mold (W) is held by a gripping device 31 closed by a cylinder 38, and a lifting and lowering table 3 is lifted by a jack 2 at the same time. A device 4 is then retreated to a given position by the device 7, and the device 31 is moved onto a cork containing box (43a) moved to the coating position by a cylinder 46. The device 31 is then reversed 90 deg. by a rotary actuator 30 at the same time to turn the inner surface of the blow mold (W) downward. The device 31 is then lowered by a pole screw 53, and oscillated left and right, up and down and forward and backward by the oscillation of a supporter 23, actuator 30 and device 40 while pressing the blow mold (W) into the cork powder.
