The folding fish basket comprises top and bottom (1,2) joined by vertical net sections (3), preferably of textile, with fish inlets. The top and bottom are held apart preferably by two vertical distance-pieces (10,11) with components mounted eccentrically at their mid-points, which in the working position are held in the transverse direction by the tension in the net. - When the components are moved from the extension position the distance-pieces fold immediately and the basket sinks on itself into a transit position where its volume is only about 10% of that when in use.(1) |
