PURPOSE:To prevent wear of a cam shaft and a bearing, by providing a lubricating oil communication groove along either of mating faces of a gear case and a gear case cover, and continuously feeding a lubricating oil to a required lubrication part of a fuel cam shaft from a nozzle opening formed at an end of the groove. CONSTITUTION:A groove 36 is provided along a mating face 35 of a gear case 11 and a gear case cover. In operation of an engine, lubricating oil discharged from a lubricating oil pump 17 is continuously fed through the groove 36 to a nozzle opening 40 formed at an end of the groove 36, from which opening the lubricating oil is supplied to a bearing 29 of a fuel cam shaft 30 to lubricate the bearing 29. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent wear of the fuel cam shaft 30 and the bearing 29 due to lack of the lubricating oil, and thereby widely extend a life of an internal-combustion engine. |
