PURPOSE:To detect the acceleratingly driving condition of an engine properly and accurately by providing a judging part for judging the accelerating condition of said engine in accordance with the output of an air flow sensor which detects the intake air quantity of said engine. CONSTITUTION:An air flow sensor 30 is provided on an intake passage 4, to generate an output VQ corresponding to the intake air quantity of an engine. A fuel injection quantity setting part 42 sets a basic fuel injection quantity based on outputs VQ, Sn from the air flow sensor 30 and an engine speed sensor 32. On the other hand, an acceleration judging part 40 forms judgement on an acceleratingly driving condition of the engine based on the voltage VQ from the air flow sensor 30. Thus, the acceleratingly driving condition of an engine can be detected properly and accurately.
