PURPOSE:To use the titled roll even at 100 deg.C which is especially desired as the calendering temp. by fixing a resinous sleeve consisting essentially of a bismaleimide-triazine resin integrally to a core body. CONSTITUTION:A resinous sleeve consisting essentially of a bismale-imide- triazine resin is fixed onto the outer peripheral surface of a metallic core to form a roll. The bismaleimide-triazine resin is obtained by the addition polymerization of bismaleimide and a triazine monomer. When the roll is manufactured, only the bis-maleimide-triazine resin can be used. However, the reaction product composition obtained by mixing an epoxy resin, an acrylic resin, a polyester resin and polyurethane which are compatible with each other is preferably used. Besides, die casting can be used as the casting method. The surface hardness of the roll is preferably regulated to >=70 deg. Shore hardness D scale, and the surface property of a tape is deteriorated at <=70 deg.. |
