MANUFACTURE OF BLADE FOR FAN

PURPOSE:To elongate the life of blade by securing fixedly the edge of a hard sintered material to a front edge cover of blade through a bed floor and putting said edge an a front edge of blade to produce the blade. CONSTITUTION:A front edge 3 of a blade 1 is covered with a front edge cover 31 to be secured fixedly to a main body 2. The front edge cover 31 is cut out in the range from an end of the front edge 3 of blade to 1/3-1/4 of the front edge length where wear severely takes place, and a bed floor of the front edge piece 4 is secured fixedly to the edge of a cut-out 32 to constitute the whole form of the front edge 3. An edge compensating portion 43 is produced with a hard sintered material. Thus, only a portion of the front edge where the most severe wear takes place can be reinforced with the edge of hard sintered material so that the life of blade can be elongated.
