PURPOSE:To inform the monthly total amount of money to customers by transmitting customer identification data and amount data from terminal equipments to a center unit, storing the amount data and date data by customers, and totalizing and printing monthly sales amount data by the terminal equipments. CONSTITUTION:A credit card 9 is inserted into a card reader 6, a customer inputs his code number of a key pad 8, and then an operator inputs the sales amount data. Then, a CPU10 stores it in the specific storage area of a RAM12. Then, those data are transmitted to a credit card center 1 through a communication modem 13 and a CPU14 makes a negative check; when the card is effective, sales data on the customer is added in a file 16 classified by customers on the basis of the customer identification number to update its contents and then the monthly sales amount data on the customer is read out and totalized. The arithmetic result is transmitted to the terminal device 3 from a communication modem 15 and a receipt is issued on a printer 5. Consequently, the customer controls his sales data by himself.
