PURPOSE:To reduce the titled electronic calculator in thickness and cost and to improve its reliability by composing the whole body of a top surface sheet, a spacer sheet, and a bottom surface sheet, using the respective sheets as members which constitute a liquid-crystal display part and a solar battery part, and sticking the respective sheets together. CONSTITUTION:A liquid-crystal electrode 6, a lead electrode 9, the thin-film layer 4 of a solar battery, and upper electrodes 5 of input keys are formed on the reverse surface of the top surface sheet 1 by vapor deposition, etc., a polarizing film 8 is embedded in the liquid-crystal part 7, and a liquid-crystal sealing member 24 is stuck on the reverse surface. A liquid-crystal electrode 25, lead electrodes 13, and through- hole electrodes 14 are provided on the top surface of the spacer sheet 2, a liquid-crystal sealing member 12 is formed on the top surface, and opening parts 10, 11, and 16 are further formed. Connecting electrodes 17 for the solar battery part 4, lower electrodes 23 of the keys and their lead electrodes, and a reflecting layer 18 are formed on the bottom surface sheet 3, and an LSI20 and an anisotropic conductive sheet 22 are fixed. While liquid-crystal is charged at a specific position, the respective sheets are stuck together to form three-layer structure. Consequently, the thickness is reduced and the structure is simplified, thereby reducing the cost.
