<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the removal efficiency of HCl in the exhaust gas of an incinerator, by countercurrently injecting a slaked lime powder in an exhaust gas stream at a speed of 5-40m/sec. CONSTITUTION:The slaked lime powder fed from a feeder 2 is countercurrently injected in the exhaust gas stream 4 containing HCl flowing through a duct 1 from a spray nozzle 3' at a speed of 5-40m/sec. By this condition, contact frequency is enhanced and the abrasion of a nozzle chip is not severely generated. The slaked lime powder is largely expanded in the duct 1 and carried by the exhaust gas stream to flow rearwardly to immobilize HCl in the powder through the neutralization reaction of HCl and the immobilized HCl is collected by the downstream side dust collector.</p> |
