<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the removal efficiency of HCl in the exhaust gas of an incinerator, by throttling a duct part for injecting a slaked lime powder or reducing the diameter of the duct to set the gas flow speed in the flow passage for injecting the slaked lime powder to 10-70m/sec. CONSTITUTION:A throttled duct part 5 is provided to a part of an exhaust gas duct 1 or the diameter of a part of said exhaust gas duct 1 is reduced to form a high flow speed duct part to increase the flow speed of exhaust gas to 10-70m/sec and a slaked lime powder is injected to said high flow speed duct part by using a feeder 2 and a jet nozzle 3. The slaked lime powder is expanded in the duct and mixed with the exhaust gas to immobilize HCl in the powder through the neutralization reaction with HCl while the immobilized HCl is collected by the downstream side dust collector. By this method, contact frequency is enhanced and the removal efficiency of HCl is enhanced.</p> |
