<p>PURPOSE:To obtain correct pen touch coordinates even when an input surface is touched with a hand and to draw a thick and a thin line corresponding to the pressure of a pen stroke by providing an input point detecting circuit which detects a pen touch signal and pen touch coordinates and a selecting circuit with selects the output of the input point detecting circuit on specific condition for each layer. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of layers of pressure sensing conductive sheets and resistance sheets and insulating sheets 5 between those layers are provided and a circuit which detects the deepest layer is incorporated in a detecting circuit 6. The detecting circuit 6 composed of the input point detecting circuit and selecting circuit 6 sends out an X coordinate obtained by a resistance sheet 2B and an Y coordinate obtained by a resistance sheet 4B to a controller 7 when currents flows through resistance sheets 2A and 4A, and 2B and 4B. Further, when the pen touch signal is detected by both the upper and lower layers, a selecting signal which indicates that the lower layer is given priority; is sent out to the controller 7. The controller 7 discriminate between the upper and lower layers with the selection signal to perform A/D conversion, etc., for the input X and Y coordinates and then sends out the pen touch coordinates and selection signal to an electronic computer 8.</p> |
