PURPOSE:To continuously use a liquid crystal spectacles device for a long time, by driving liquid crystal cells and a circuit system by supplying the output of a liquid crystal driving source provided in a separated body to the main body of the spectacles. CONSTITUTION:The output of a tuning rectifier circuit 16 is converted into a liquid crystal controlling voltage by means of a DC/AC converter 10 and applied across electrodes 6a and 6b and electrodes 5a and 5b of each cell 4a and 4b. A function which changes the oscillating frequency or level is added to an oscillator 13 and, when the function is operated, the liquid crystal controlling voltage which is the final output can be changed and the focal length of a liquid crystal lens 4 can be changed. When the lens 4 is controlled through a radio means by the oscillator 13 in such a way, the necessity of connecting the main body 1 of this spectacles with an external battery with a cord is eliminated and the operability is extremely improved. At the same time, the spectacles can be used continuously for a long time, since a large-capacity one can be used as the battery of the oscillator 13.
