PURPOSE:To enable a work time to be reduced, by providing a means which supplies a ring being left as placed piling to a head and spreads the ring to be opened and fitted to a ring groove of a piston at the moment the ring is detached from a free end of the head. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that piston rings A are fitted through a guide 3, this piston ring A is laminated on a moving table 4 vertically slided through a pilot strut 2. While a device provides a stepping motor 5 in the moving table 4 and engages a pinion, provided in a driving shaft, with a rack 6 vertically provided in parallel to the pilot strut 2. While a cone-shaped head 10 is detachably mounted to a top part of the guide 3 after the piston rings A are laminated on the moving table 4. A receiving hole 11 for accepting a piston B is drilled in the head 10. While the device, providing a sensor rod 12 extending through the center of the guide 3, resiliently holds upward this sensor rod 12. |
