PURPOSE:To make selection of an auxiliary transmission to a high-speed position checkable in the case where a dead slow device is in an operating state, by interposing a tractive device between the dead slow device and the auxiliay transmission, in case of a device provided with both main and auxiliary transmissions and each of dead slow shifters. CONSTITUTION:A power takeoff shift shaft and a running shift shaft 39, etc., are rotatably supported on a transmission case 5 of a tractor, and an auxiliary shifting gear set 52 is rotatably supported on a rear part portion of the running shift shaft 39, while a dead slow selective gear 53 is supported thereon free of slide motion alone. In addition, there is provided with a dead slow gear set 55 of a dead slow transmission in connection with the auxiliary shifting gear set 52, while the selective gear 53 is selectively engageable with the gear set 55 or 52 via a shifter 52 with operation of a dead slow selector lever 59. In this case, there is provided with a checking device 69 which regulates an auxiliary shift lever 62, selecting the auxiliary transmission when the lever 59 is in an operating position C, so as not to be situated in a high speed position B.
