PURPOSE:To enable to easily mold a plastic foam, the interior of which is highly expanded and the external appearance of which is fine, by a method wherein molding is performed by applying high frequency voltage to stock for outer shell, which is installed in an upright position in stock for outer skin with high fluidity and locked in a mold together with said stock for outer skin. CONSTITUTION:When stock 15 for core body containing foaming agent therein is installed in upright position in a stock 11 for outer shell with high fluidity is heated with dielectric effect in a molding tool 20, the stock 11 is plasticated and molten and at the same time the volumetric expansion due to the foaming of the stock 15 for core body causes the stock 11 for outer skin with high fluidity to flow in the molding tool so as to box the outer periphery of the stock 15 for core body in order to mold the stock 15 integrally with the stock 11. Concretely, the stock 15 for core body is heated previous to the stock 11 for outer skin. The expansion of the stock 15 for core body due to the decomposition of the foaming agent contained in the core body causes the stock 11 for outer skin with high fluidity to box the outer periphery of the core body in the course of foam molding so as to cover the core body under the state of the stock 11 being further heated in order to mold the stock 11 integrally with the stock 15. |
