PURPOSE:To increase the earthquake proofing effect of a pile by a method in which a frame is provided to at least the upper periphery of a pile buried under the ground, and a viscous material, e.g., asphalt, etc., is interposed between the pile body and the frame. CONSTITUTION:A steel tube 7 is vertically set in an excavated pit, and a pile body 8 is vertically driven into the tube 7. A viscous material 9, e.g., asphalt, bentonite liquid, oil, etc., or air is packed into the cylindrical space between the tube 7 and the pile body 8 to form an earthquake-proof pile A. Since the energy of earthquake, etc., can be dispersed and damped by the viscous material 9, a great earthquake proofing effect can be obtained. |
