PURPOSE:To prevent uneven transfer of a dye by giving a specified surface characteristic to at least one of the 2 supports of a photosensitive element and a dye fixing element. CONSTITUTION:The surface smoothness characteristic of at least one of the 2 supports of the photosensitive element and the dye fixing element of a heat developable color photosensitive material is controlled so as to have <=10, preferable, 5 points having >=4mum in the max. waviness magnitude when the max. waviness magnitudes of a filtered wave are measured in 100 optionally selected points in the standard length of 2.5mm in the filtered wave waviness curve introduced under the conditions of 0.8mm cutoff value from the section curve obtained in the test performed in accordance with JIS BO610. As the support having such a surface characteristic, coated paper is embodied, and the photosensitive material using this support is good in the adhesion when it is overlaid with the dye fixing material, and uneven transfer can be prevented, and a preferable thickness of the coated paper is a basis weight of 20-200g/m<2>. |
