PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation and breakage of a cylindrical body and the fracture and seizure of a spatula for forming, by stopping once the relative press-contacting movement of a cylindrical body and a forming spatula on the way of forming, before performing the press-contacting movement again, for the purpose of preventing the sudden change of the direction of a fore acting on the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:The forming part 17 of a forming spatula 13 is pressed against a rotating cylindrical body 11 and is moved in the A B direction. And the end of cylindrical body 11 is formed along the curved shape of forming part 17. At that time, the end of cylindrical body 11 is not yet perfectly closed. Successively, the press-contacting movement is stopped for about 1-60sec. to rotate the cylindrical body 11 as it is. Thereafter, the cutting part 19 of spatula 13 is moved close to the rotating axis of cylindrical body 11, to close the end pat of body 11 as well as to form an excessive part 21 at the outside. Next, the spatula 13 is further moved to cross the rotating axis of body 11 thereby cutting off the part 21. |
