PURPOSE:To enable the safe automatic operation of a transfer truck for coke oven, by switching the transfer truck to the automatic mode by a stationary controller via an induction wireless controlling apparatus, transferring the truck automatically, and initializing the data of the present position of the truck by the first detected data of a position detector. CONSTITUTION:The automatic operation of a transfer truck 2 of a coke oven is carried out by the following system. The system is furnished with a mobile station 6 mounted on the transfer truck 2 and a fixed station 3 placed on the ground. The information is transferred between the ground and the truck by a wireless induction apparatus via the induction wireless antenna 5 on the truck and the induction wireless trolley 4 connected to the fixed station 3 and extended parallel to the rails 9 on which the transfer truck 2 is transferred. The detectors 8a-8c of the absolute positions are attached on the rails 9 of the truck 2, and a stationary controller 1 to control the motion of the truck 2 is provided. The truck 2 is switched to the automatic operation mode by the use of an automatic operation controlling apparatus composed of the above units via the wireless induction apparatus, and the present position of the truck 2 is initialized by the absolute position detectors 8a-8c detected first.
