PURPOSE:To allow transfer process time to be optimized according to the base temperature of a thermal head and to allow a recording paper to be fed at the sped according to the transfer process time, by compensating a speed command signal for a D.C. motor and a pulse width of heat current passing to an exothermic element in the thermal head according to the difference between the base temperature and the preset reference temperature of the thermal head. CONSTITUTION:The base temperature of a thermal head 2 detected by a temperature sensor 16 and the rotational speed of a D.C. motor 5 detected by a speed detecting circuit 17 consisting of a pulse encoder and the like are inputted to a main control circuit 15. The main control circuit 15 controls a speed command signal (driving voltage value) and a signal compensating a pulse width for heat current passing to an exothermic element on the base of the difference between the preset reference temperature and the detected temperature with respect to the base temperature of the thermal head 2 to output respectively on a D.C. motor control circuit 14 and a gradation control circuit 11. |
