MOLDING OF POLYISOCYANURATE-BASED HEAT-RESISTANT RESIN

PURPOSE:To obtain the molded article of the titled resin having remarkably excellent heat-resistance, efficiently by injection molding, by compounding specific respective compounds to the first component system containing an organic polyisocyanate and to the second component system containing an ethylenic unsaturated compound. CONSTITUTION:(A) The first component consisting of a liquid mixture of (i) an organic polyisocyanate (preferably diphenylmethane diisocyanate or the like) and/or a prepolymer containing NCO group and (ii) an epoxy compound (preferably a monoepoxide such as butylene oxide) and (B) the second component consisting of a liquid mixture obtained by mixing (iii) an ethylenic unsaturated compound (preferably diallyl phthalate) with (iv) an aziridine compound [e.g. 1-(2-cyanoethyl)aziridine] and (v) a tertiary amine, are molded by an injection molding machine, and the molded article released from the mold is subjected to post-curing at a post-curing initiation temperature of 110-170 deg.C.
