<p>In the case of the method for producing a disc-shaped, curved magnet coil, especially for particle-accelerator installations, the conductor is wound around a winding former which has a convex longitudinal side and a concave longitudinal side, thus having a partially negative curvature, using holding devices which are to be fitted at least on the outer edge of the concave longitudinal side of the winding former, and is fixed in its position after the winding process. In this case, the magnet coil is intended to be wound in a quasi-continuous manner. For this purpose, the invention provides that the conductor (3) be pressed against the winding former (2) or against already existing conductor turns, by means of the holding devices (11) which are arranged in a row to form a chain and are constructed in a moving manner along the outer edge (12), the conductor (3) being laid in an at least largely tension-free manner on the winding former (2) or on the already existing outermost conductor turn, over a gap (L) in the chain. <IMAGE></p> |
