Two pistons located in a cylinder are pushed against the valve stem of a high-pressure valve and open the high-pressure valve. The gas flowing into the cylinder pushes back the pistons. Within the cylinder, the pistons form two chambers. From the chamber between the two pistons, the pressure gas is taken off at reduced pressure. A dynamic pressure is produced in the cylinder chamber between the piston opening the valve and the high-pressure valve, because the piston at its circumference bleeds only a small, throttled amount of gas into the cylinder chamber between the two pistons. As a result, a continuous flow of throttled amounts of gas is produced which can be adjusted to very low levels.
|
