In an irradiation device equipped with low-pressure UV emitters for the irradiation of a subject there is provided an air outlet nozzle in which all air outlet openings are combined. The air outlet nozzle has a hose connection piece on which a cam for mounting of the hose is fitted. As a result of this device it is possible to achieve particularly effective and at the same time low-noise cooling of the low-pressure UV emitters and the irradiated subject even if there is generation of very much heat in the irradiation device.
