The invention proposes a pivotable tool holder which can be mounted directly on the grinding table. The holder possesses a pivotable adjusting device (2) which is used for receiving a workpiece to be machined. The workpiece is brought into a defined position by means of a stop piece (11) and is fixedly clamped in this position on the adjusting device (2) by means of clamping screws (8). Subsequently, by means of the adjusting device (2), the workpiece is laterally displaced by a defined distance which is measured by means of a dial gauge, the dimension of the lateral displacement corresponding to the radius to be ground. <IMAGE>
