GRAPHIC DISPLAY PROCESSING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To shorten the time needed for the transfer and the processing of data and to perform a graphic display at a high speed by using a means which converts the 2-dimensional information on a perforated polygon into that on a non-perforated polygon. CONSTITUTION:The perforated polygon (a) serving as the input data has inner loops l1 and l2 shown by oblique lines within an outer loop L. Then the polygon (a) is converted into a non-perforated polygon (b) by connecting the apex E of the loop L and the apex F of the loop l1 by two ridgelines R1 and R2 and also the apex H of the loop L and the apex G of the line l2 by two ridgelines R3 and R4 respectively. In case an inner loop l3 to which the direct connection of the loop L is impossible exists, the loop l3 is connected to an inner loop L for conversion into a non-perforated polygon (c).
