PURPOSE:To perform one-surface multiple copying operation by providing a transfer-direction changeover claw to part of the sorter of a copying machine which performs automatic both-surface copying operation. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine performs the same operation as normal copying operation in the beginning and when a one-surface copied form is discharged to the sorter 2, it is sent to a form transfer path by a conveyor roller 12 and a conveyor belt 13. When both-surface copying is performed, the form transfer path changeover claw 28 is open. Consequently, the form is inverted in conveyance direction by a reverse conveyor belt 14 and carried in a disk 3. When one-surface multiple copying operation is performed, on the other hand, the form transfer path changeover claw 28 is closed. Consequently, the form is carried in the disk 3 without being changed in conveyance direction through the reverse conveyor belt 14. The one-surface copied form carried in the disk 3 is stacked in an intermediate tray 17 until the one-surface copying of the same original is repeated by a specific number and a next original is set on an original platen 6; when next copying operation is started, this form is fed to a copying process again through a one-surface copied form entrance 19 and a paper feed roller 19. |
