PURPOSE:To insert a magnetic card which is used for the control system of a copying machine up to an insertion position at a constant speed with a sense of security by classifying by coloring one part of the magnetic card which is inserted into a magnetic card reader and the other part which is outside the magnetic card reader when the card is inserted. CONSTITUTION:An arrow 22 drawn on the card shows the insertion direction of the magnetic card 20 into the magnetic card reader 1. The magnetic card 20 is divided into two by l1 and l2 lengthwise (length l) band they are colored differently. In this case, l1 is the length of insertion into the magnetic card reader 1, so the magnetic card is only inserted into the magnetic card reader 1 up to a boundary line 20d, so that the magnetic card 20 is inserted until its front end 20c abuts on the stopper 15 of the magnetic card reader 1. Therefore, a defect in reading magnetic card data due to a failure in the constant- speed insertion of the magnetic card due to uncertainty resulting from the vagueness of a stop position is eliminated. |
