PURPOSE:To shift a desired key to a desired position by using a means to change the positions of two keys which are pushed after a change key is pushed. CONSTITUTION:When a key 1 is shifted to the position of a key 5, a change key 61 is pushed at first and then the key 5 is pushed. Thus a code '00111' produced from a code generation part 5-1 is stored to a buffer memory 71 for the designation of the address of a RAM66. Then the key 1 to be changed is pushed and the corresponding code '00001' is stored in a buffer memory 72. Therefore the data '00001' corresponding to the address '00111' is delivered through the RAM66 and stored in a buffer memory 78. Then the address '00111' is delivered to a common bus 80.
