A support frame, for example an articulated camera support, is disclosed having support arms articulated to one another by an intermediate member and racked to one another by meshed gear teeth, each arm having gear teeth disposed such that they mesh with the teeth on an adjacent arm with the support arm axes (as herein defined) of the adjacent arms co-planar, e.g. with the teeth disposed such that its support arm axis (as herein defined) intersects the gear pitch circle diameter at a point of substantial symmetry of a gear tooth flank. |
