PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a process to open an opening section at the side of an inner tube and simply manufacture a fluorescent lamp, then improve its mechanical strength by providing an inner tube opening support section that will not clog the entire of the opening cross section of the inner tube at the base bottom section of an outer tube. CONSTITUTION:Airtight space is formed with the outer tube 1 and outer tube base bottom section 2 of a fluorescent lamp and two or more inner tubes 3 are arranged in this airtight space, then the inside of each of the inner tubes 3 is coated with phosphor 5. In addition, an electrode 4 is arranged at the one outer tube base bottom section 2 side of each of the inner tubes 3, respectively and an inner tube opening section 6 is formed at the other end of each of the inner tubes 3, then an inner tube support member 7 is fixed between this opening section 6 and outer tube base bottom section 2 using an inorganic adhesive agent 8. Each of the inner tubes 3 is supported by this inner tube support member 7 so as not to clog the entire of the opening section 6 of each of the inner tubes 3. Besides, the need for a process to form an opening section at the side of each of the inner tubes 3 is eliminated, the manufacture of the fluorescent lamp is simplified, and its mechanical strength is improved. |
