PURPOSE:To obtain a pickup cartridge by which a fine vibration in a fixed member side is prevented exactly and a clear sound is obtained, by constituting it so that at least a cantilever supporting part is provided with an alloy member for generating a thermoelasticity type martensite transformation being in a martensite state, in a working temperature area. CONSTITUTION:Between a damper 5 and a ball piece extended part 9, namely, to a supporting part of a cantilever 3, a vibration absorbing alloy member 10 is attached. This alloy member 10 consists of an alloy for generating a thermoelasticity type martensite transformation being in a martensite state in a working temperature area of a pickup cartridge 1. Therefore, since a damping effect is displayed in the working temperature area of the pickup cartridge 1, a fine vibration based on a resonance of such fixed members as a magnet 6, ball pieces 7, 8, a ball piece extended part 9, and a cartridge body, etc., which is caused by a vibration of a needle 2 can be absorbed exactly. |
