发明名称 FORMATION OF FLUX TO MEMBER TO BE BRAZED AND BRAZING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To form a flux having excellent corrosion resistance on the surface of a member to be brazed by dipping said member in an aq. flux soln. contg. a compd. of the metal baser than said metal and maintaining said soln. at a high temp. thereby forming the film of the baser metal on said member. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned member to be brazed is dipped into the aq. flux soln. which contains the flux contg. the compd. consisting of the metal baser than the member to be brazed at 5-50wt% concn. and is kept at the high temp. and the film of the sacrificial anode consisting of said flux and said metal is formed on the surface of the member to be brazed. Brazing with satisfactory corrosion resistance is made possible by using such member to be brazed. If the member to be brazed is of Al, Fe, Cu or the alloy thereof, Zn is suitable as the baser metal. ZnF2 is suitable as the compd. thereof if the flux is fluoride and ZnCl2 is suitable if the flux consists essentially of chloride. The temp. of the above-mentioned aq. flux soln. is kept at the critical temp. for the ionization of Zn or above.
