PURPOSE:To allow image forming particles to exhibit filter effect on light incident on every face of them and to enhance their spectral characteristics by forming the picture image forming particles of uniform dispersion structure and selecting a coloring material as a filter by considering the sensitive region of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A color picture image is formed by uniformly scattering on a conductive substrate, the picture image forming particles each composed of a photosensitive material having main sensitivity to blue light and a blue colorant and a yellow-developing colorless sublimable dye, the image forming particles each composed of a photosensitive material having main sensitivity to green light and a green colorant and a magenta-developing colorless sublimable dye, and the image forming particles each composed of a photosensitive material having main sensitivity to red light and a red colorant and a cyan-developing colorless sublimable dye, electrostatically charging these 3 kinds of particles uniformly, imagewise exposing them to selectively destaticize them and removing them, and transferring the colorless sublimable dyes of the particles remaining on the substrate to a transfer paper, and developing the colors. |
