PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the humidifying quality and the reliability of watertightness, by a method wherein a hollow porous member and stacked space plates are wound to a angular post, and a ventilation passage is formed between the hollow porous members. CONSTITUTION:Square type hollow porous members 1 having a feedwater inlet 4 at one end and of which material is hydrophobic micromolecular material and the space plate 5 of which section shape stacked with said member 1 is wave shape are wound to the angular post 8 which is to be a core material, and the ventilation passage is formed between stacked hollow members and the humidifying device is composed. Accordingly, by adequately changing the shape of the core material, the section shape of the humidifying device can be made very alike to the shape of the attaching part of the humidifying device, and the effective humidifying area rate occupied by the hollow porous member becomes large and the humidifying capability can be improved.
